ABOUT US
Robert McArdle and Alvaro Torrecilla are the founding partners of Modern Stone.
Bob entered the industry as a marble fabricator more than three decades ago and since that time has gained a broad experience in all phases of fabrication, estimating, project management and client interface. He has successfully managed several hundred million dollars of projects throughout the northeast United States. Equally comfortable working on site with installers reviewing installation techniques or speaking with CEOs of billion-dollar corporations.
Alvaro on the other hand manages the business in Italy and European region, utilizing his business acumen and management knowledge gained through his MBA. In addition, Alvaro has spent more than 7 years working in the marble industry touching the dust in Carrara and many other prominent marble centers. He has successfully managed the procurement, fabrication, dry lay reporting and logistics for thousands of containers of material. He also is consistently trying to implement newer management value solutions and quality control techniques with our partner factories.
Modern Stone Consulting has successfully performed substantial project in the cities of Boston, New York, New Orleans and others. Always working with our fully qualified partner factories which ensures our collective success meeting the needs of our clients.
